I’ve been banging on about the AVETT BROTHERS for a while.  Drenched in critical acclaim and fan frenzy in the US, they remain relative unknowns in blighty.  Which is a damn shame, as no one does earnest, heartfelt Americana like these guys.

Their lack of exposure in the UK is likely to change pretty soon though, what with the impending release of a new Rick Rubin produced LP.  Which is bound to rock.

While waiting for that record, you could do worse than check out these great live clips on Laundromatinee.  Distraction #74 is a particular fave.
