    Vampire Weekend new video

I agree. I'm not feeling the song, but the video is kind of entertaining... Though it reminds me A LOT of one they already did.. I'm not a fan of theirs so I can't rattle off which song is from the top of my head right now haha.

    vampire weekend

I loved the first album but this is a terrible song. He is sounding more and more like Sting everyday. They were better when you didn't know what they looked like. The video reminds me of 'They might be giants' which isn't a good thing.

    "Cousins" song by V.W.

I totally disagree with the drabness comments on this song.

This song was one of the most refreshingly simple, spirited songs I had heard in a long, long time. In an age where 'hip hop' and slow ballads seem to rule the indie airwaves, a fast paced song with tight snare drum effects and a Dick Dale like guitar riff are very welcome to my experienced ears. I wish we had more songs like "Cousins" on the air today. Hearing it brought me instantly back to the day in 1976 when I first put my yellow Sire label Ramones debut LP on and heard "Blitzkrieg Bop". Unlike that 1976 tune which I thought should have had mainstream FM/AM airplay (it didn't then), this song by Vampire Weekend may get the airplay it deserves.
