Accomplished progressive art-pop from this four-piece to say the least with vocal harmonies that could grace Crosby Stills Nash and Young and the overall groove isn't that far from a Californian summer of love mood. An 80's house piano drives their debut single 'Black Morning' (Chess Club Records) along while the guitar lines inter-lock in FOALS-type workout. But things get more interesting ... stop-starts, rhythm changes, organ and guitar riffs that recall the best of long lost Tom Vek, sorely missed Clor and the fuzzed up prog of Late of The Pier. Intelligent and hooky funkiness closer to Talking Heads than the abrasions of Gang of Four or Joy Division and very danceable. Impressed us all at The Camden Crawl and Great Escape.

Currently on a seemingly endless bout of UK touring in support of their debut album 'Between Here and There' on Weekender Records Frantic Stokesian downstroking of chiming, clean and crisp guitars, call and response twin vocals with shades of Futureheads entwined melodies, and more hooks than most. Fast and furious post-Maximo Park art-pop with a sense of Maccabees style 'boys-gang' angst and attitude. A welcome second visit to The Artrocker club.

The one-woman maelstrom of sound that is Liz Sharp is back in the country Alternating between the drum stool and sonic distortions on guitar Liz Sharp makes disonant and distorted artrock-cum-krautpunk like no other. Having shed her band a couple of years back for the use of drum and guitar loops she has never looked back. She has variously been compared to The Breeders, Deerhoof, Fiery Furnaces, Clap Your Hands, and all with good reason. The minimal drones and grooves are compulsive listening and her lyrics can be scathing political assaults as well as witty music biz piss-takes. Fuzzed up and riff-o-matic artrock. 'All Systems A-Go-Go' On Cochon Records (Erase Errata/Dada Swing) was the last album release.

The newest sounds as heard in the Artrocker Office and our Resonance FM podcast.
