All aboard HMS Go-Go! Ride the waves with the Actionettes as they take you on a nautical adventure from North London to the high seas of motown!

Come along to the Buffalo Bar and witness the live synchronised routines of the Actionettes dance troupe as they shimmy along to sixties girl group tunes. The evening will kick off with a daring dance class for all potential crew to show off their moves, instructed by the Actionettes themselves!

Captained by compere Evil Elvis, the centerpiece of the club will be a set by Cardiff-based group The School, who are “a reminder that the Pipettes weren't the last word in indie-pop for the One Kiss Can Lead to Another set” (Pitchfork). Fronted by The Loves’ singer and keyboardist Liz Hunt, this Elefant Records band have been likened to Belle and Sebastian and Lucky Soul.

The Actionettes will then take to the Upper Deck for two riotous sets featuring routines choreographed to the best in 60s Pop, Soul and Garage... But dancing won’t just be done by the performers - guest DJ Evil Elvis and the Actionettes are on hand to spin the best floor fillers until the early hours, and there’s a dance competition to be won!
