CARIBOU
(CITY SLANG)
Caribou is Canadian native Dan Snaith, who formerly recorded under the moniker Manitoba. Known for altering his sound with each subsequent release, he incorporates electronic psychedelia, krautrock rhythms, and breakbeat drums and creates a swirling, lush, musical panorama.
Live performances are something to experience where records are recreated with a full band and psychedelic visuals. The performance becomes a total artform in itself that can often take the crowd into a mesmorising state of fixation.

BORN RUFFIANS
(WARP)
Born Ruffians is a Canadian upbeat indie rock band that are currently signed to Warp Records.
They released their debut EP in 2006 which received huge acclaim in the US and has had extensive airplay on cult stations.
One of the bands that have in the past two years generated much attention at SXSW and are now seeing the ripples of the wave translate to the UK with profile pieces in Plan B, NME, Guardian, etc, and has such seen them secure a slot at the forthcoming Pitchfork curated ATP Festival in May.
Previously toured with Hot Chip, Cadence Weapon, Tokyo Police Club, Peter Bjorn and John, and The Hidden Cameras.

This band are truely going around and creating a storm at the moment.
Recently seen supporting A Silver Mt. Zion and Efterklang, and with supports lined up with Hawk & A Hacksaw and Jens Lekman, this band are certainly moving in the cult circles and making the audience stand up, wake up, and leaving them wanting more.
Recently signed to Leaf Label, they play a perfect mix of spiritual Jazz laden pop, free-blues and raw soul music makes this band one of the most interesting to come out of Sweden in a long while.
