Sonic Youth’s 16th studio album, The Eternal, hit my mailbox this weekend, so I tore it open and popped it in. Sacred Trickster, the first free download, kicks it off right…two minutes of Kim Gordon over furious crunch and fuzz.

The Eternal will be released June 9th through Matador Records. Lots of Buy Early, Get Now goodies for this album, so check that out.
