Artrocker Brighton opens its doors on Thursday!

One artrocker club a week not enough for you? No? Just as well we've opened a second one then. Artrocker Brighton begins on Thursday 10th April at the Water Margin. See you all down there.

Artrocker is, for the first time, opening a second club, thereby rolling the artrock carpet out all over the place, hopefully. We've chosen Brighton for the first of the new clubs. It has more than its fair share of great bands, and it's a pretty cool place.

Here's the opening night line-up:
Popular Workshop - fresh from supporting Art Brut on tour, this trio of punked-up energy, melody and school ties are getting lots of people talking.
Televised Crimewave - built from the remains of the sadly missed Black Wire, TC are rawer and wilder than their previous incarnation. Expect fireworks
Shrag - local punk-pop stars, hailed by the likes of The Cribs (who they went on tour with) and our lovely selves. They've got great songs, shouting and the odd dance routine.
DJs: Jon Slade - ex Huggy Bear man, now in Comet Gain. Runs the brilliant Born Bad club.
Marcus O'Dair - writer and broadcaster extraordinaire, Marcus presents a regular and cool late night show on Juice FM
